Linda Gay

Linda Sue Gay, 74, of Borger went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 10, 2021 in Borger.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Linda was born June 21, 1947, in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Robert and Oneta Lavita (Landreth) Driver. She married Richard Gay October 16, 1970, in Borger. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church. She loved sewing and quilting. She worked for Furr’s Grocery Store for 16 years and later as a home health care nurse.

Preceding her in death is her parents; husband; and sister, Lesa Lankford.

Surviving are her sons, Lee Massengale of Amarillo, Vance Massengale of La Luz, NM, Ricky Meredith of Borger; stepson, Richard Gay of Amarillo; daughter Lena Marie Gay of TN; stepdaughter, Kimberly Lovitt of Amarillo; brother, Steve Driver of Borger; sister, Treva Saxon of Fritch; four grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
