Donald Hadley

Donald Bruce Hadley, 79, passed from this life Thursday, December 8, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas.

Funeral service will be 10 am Saturday, December 10, 2022, in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kevin Oakley of Mescalero Baptist Church of Amarillo officiating.  Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Don was born December 30, 1942, in Amarillo to William Hadley and Laura J. Lea Hadley.  He married Darlene Taylor on December 10, 1961, in Stinnett.  Don began working in the oil field at the age of 19 and retired at 72.  He worked his way up to being a consultant for an oil company.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Laura Hadley; and his wife of 59 years, Darlene Hadley; and brothers, William Hadley and Philip Hadley.

Survivors include sons, Bruce Hadley and his wife Karen of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Joshua Hadley of Pueblo, Colorado; daughter, Teri Jones of Lone Grove, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Justin Hadley, Heather Hadley, A. C. Jones, Alyssa Hadley, Caylynn Hadley, and Alayna Hadley; great grandchildren, Sahily, Addie, Brecken, Kai, Kaliah, Jaxon, Cierra; brothers, Richard Hadley and wife Sandy, Red Hadley; sisters, Esther Abromaitis and husband Werner, Janice Boughner and husband Robert; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
