Vicki Stephenson

Vicki Leann Stephenson, 70, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to Meals on Wheels of Borger, c/o Opportunity Center, PO Box 5032, Borger, Texas, 79008.

Vicki was born March 29, 1952, in Borger to Robert Tollison and JoAnn McWhorter Tollison.  She received her master’s degree in education from West Texas A&M University.  Vicki had a passion for teaching and did so for over 25 years.  She married Kent Stephenson on July 20, 1996, in Sanford.  Vicki enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, using her Cricut and was a talented quilter.  Nothing brought more joy to her life than her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and JoAnn Tollison; her first husband, Larry Maupin; grandson, Duncan Johnson; sister, Christy Lynn Tollison; and daughter-in-law, Rhonda Stephenson.

Survivors include her husband, Kent of Borger; children, Mark Maupin and wife Whitney Tyler of Amarillo, Jodye Koopman and husband Max of Melissa, Texas, Lisa Johnson and husband Kendall of Great Falls, Montana, Ray Stephenson of Borger, Richard Stephenson and wife Yvonne of Amarillo; grandchildren, Keirsey, AnneMarie, Jimmy, Grady, Kesli Cazarez and husband Daniel, Aly Moss and husband Brendon, Alex Stephenson; Keillan, Samantha, Ian;  brothers, Bobby Tollison and wife Susan of McKinney, Texas, Dennis Tollison and wife Sandra of Farmersville, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
