With deep sorrow and great love, we announce that loving husband, father, son, friend, and United States Marine, Ricky Wolfe, passed suddenly on the afternoon of Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the age of 41.

He is lovingly survived by his wife of 18 years, Summer Wolfe; his sons, Conner (16) and Christian (13) Wolfe; his mother, Linda Wolfe; his brother, Jason Wolfe; his mother and father in-law, Donald and Marilyn Bybee; his brother and sister in-laws, Daniel and Misty Wright, Terry and Cathy Bybee; his loving nephews and nieces, Braydon, Luke, and Nicole Wright, Grayson, Griffin, Gage, and Ellison Bybee. He is also survived and will be missed by friends too numerous to count.

He was preceded in death by his adoring father and best friend, Danny Wolfe; his maternal grandparents, L.G. & Jan Cotton; and his paternal grandparents, Jim & Darlene Wolfe.

Ricky was a 1998 graduate of Sanford-Fritch High School, in Fritch, Texas. He joined the Marine Corps Reserves in 1998 and shortly after moved to College Station, Texas to be with his future bride and became an honorary Fighting Texas Aggie. January 14, 2003 he was married to his loving bride, Summer Wolfe, and a week later he had the great opportunity to serve his country in the fight against global terrorism, while being deployed as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Once he returned from his deployment, he moved to McKinney, TX where he became a very proud father in May of 2004 to a beautiful baby boy and a second son in November of 2007. Over the years, Ricky built a career as a mechanic and eventually became a Nissan Certified Master Technician. He had the opportunity to travel and enjoy the world with his family, visiting Sweden, England, Italy, and France. He served his church and community by teaching youth groups at First Baptist Church in Allen and coaching baseball through the McKinney Baseball and Softball Association. Ricky had a great love for sports and expressed that love through playing, watching, and coaching his sons. He was a lifelong fan of the Denver Broncos and New York Yankees. Ricky’s life was defined by his great love for his family and friends.
