Michael Dougherty, Sr.

Michael “Mike” Don Dougherty, 57, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020.

Services are pending at this time.  Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mike was born August 17, 1962 in Amarillo to Jimmie Don Dougherty and Judy Williams.  He enjoyed cutting firewood, watching the Dallas Cowboys and WWE.  Mike felt right at home at his BBQ grill, and loved to cook for family and friends.  Nothing brought more joy to his life than his family, especially his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jimmie Craig Dougherty.

Survivors include his wife, Tina of Fritch; sons, Michael Dougherty, Jr. and wife Kristi of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Jimmie Dougherty and wife Courtney of Amarillo, Matthew Dougherty of Amarillo, Derrick Brown and wife Michelle of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; niece, Paige Martinez of Amarillo; and  great nieces, Sariah and Jenice.
