Marie Dunham

Marie Mesmer Dunham was born on November 24, 1932 to John F. Mesmer and Elizabeth Hollingsworth in North Platte, Nebraska.  Marie passed away on March 11, 2021 in Kerrville, TX. at the age of 88. Graveside services will be 12:00 pm Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Marie lived in Borger, Texas for 60 years.  She attended and received degrees from Frank Phillips College, West Texas University and Wayland Baptist University. She retired from Huber Corp. in Borger.  Lee Dunham and Marie were married in Borger in 1972.  Lee passed away in December, 2020.  Marie and Lee were faithful members of Faith Covenant Church in Borger.  Marie was an accomplished seamstress and could sew most anything.

Marie is survived by three sons:  Glenn Carter of Leander, TX; Tedd Carter of Lubbock, TX; and Jeff Carter of Amarillo; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren;  brothers, Fred Jr. Mesmer of Omaha, Neb. and Joe Mesmer of North Platte, Neb.
