Lillie Mae Hartley passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020.  Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, August 23, at the Cumberland Cemetery in Cumberland, Oklahoma.

Lillie Mae Tennyson was born to Mattie and J.W. Tennyson on August 21, 1929 in Aylesworth, Oklahoma.  They later moved to Kingston, Oklahoma where she started school and graduated.  Soon after graduation she married Calvin Hartley on September 25, 1947.  After the death of her father J.W., they along with her mother moved to Dumas, Texas where they remained until Calvin’s retirement.  Her sisters were Leona Neafus of Madill, Oklahoma and Mary Hollingsworth.  Nieces and nephews were Rhonda Willard and husband, Pete of Panhandle and Michelle Parsons and husband, Ray of Amarillo, Brenda Purser of Louisville, Kentucky and David Neafus of Madill, Oklahoma.

Lillie was an avid baker who showed her love for everyone by cooking and baking for them.  She was generous to a fault and always made sure her nieces and their children had what they needed.  She never was blessed with her own children.  So her nieces, their children and grandchildren became her own.  She loved them all dearly.
