Larry Fanshier, 68, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm Monday, February 3, 2020 in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Jake Minton officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Larry Fanshier was born April 5, 1951 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Frances and Lawrence George "Bill" Fanshier. He graduated from Borger High School in 1969. Larry worked and retired from Harvey Tire Company.  He enjoyed playing bingo and fishing, he even got to go deep sea fishing which was a dream come true for him.  No one had a bigger heart than Larry.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lucy Dow; brother, Leroy Fanshier and nephew, Clinton Eddins.

Survivors include his nephews, Calvin Eddins and wife Christal of Borger, Johnathan Dow and wife Kalli of Maysville, Kentucky, Jeremy Dow and fiancé Jennifer of Oklahoma City, Walter Fanshier and wife Melissa of Wichita, Kansas; niece, Jennifer Wheeler and husband Daniel of Wichita, Kansas; great nieces and nephews, Jayden, Kynlee, Charity, Destiny, Lexy, Austin, William, Shelby and Cameron; and a host of extended family and friends.
