Jackie Lawson, 68. passed away on November 24, 2020 in Aurora, CO. Due to the Covid restrictions the family will have a private service on Friday at 11:00 a.m. that will be livestreamed on mintonchatwell.com below his obituary. It will also be recorded and will be able to be watched on that website later. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Jackie was born December 25, 1951 in Borger to Jack E. Lawson and Velma Tietz Lawson. He was a proud Blackhawk, graduating from Phillips High School in 1970 and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from West Texas State University. He married Renea November 30, 1990 in Borger and was an Equipment Inspector for DCP and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Jackie loved to watch his grandsons in sports and watched all sports, he was President of the Phillips Blackhawks Alumni and enjoyed the UT Longhorns. He was really a homebody watched the Hallmark Christmas movies all year long and loved going to Fun Valley, CO.

He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.

Jackie is survived by his wife Renea, his mother Velma Lawson of Borger, his sons Derrick Dixon and his wife Kiley of Amarillo and Jaymes Hebard of Ft. Bragg, NC, his daughters Andrea Lawson of Borger, Arrika Mitchell and her husband Tyler of Amarillo and Rylee Killgo and her husband Collin of Pampa, his brother Steve Lawson of Borger, his sister Jan Parsons and her husband Reggie of Arlington, TX, his grandsons Mason and Ryan Mitchell, James Marshall, Jr., Braylon Dixon and Liam and Haze Killgo, his nephews Regan Parsons, Jarett Parsons and his wife Alecia and Kyle Lawson and his niece Paige Germany.
