Howard Davis, Sr.

Howard Wayne Davis Sr., 84 of Borger passed away December 24, 2020.  Funeral Services will be 10:00 Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Scott Wallace officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Howard was born January 16, 1936 in Mineral Wells, Texas to Lester Waren and Hattie Pearlie (Clutz) Davis. He proudly served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict as an Airman 2nd Class. He was a 32° Scottish Rite Freemason and a Shriner.  He was an iron worker for many years and a planner for Zachary Construction for 11 years.  He liked to play golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sherry Leonard; granddaughter, Sonya Leonard; sisters, Patsy and Flora; and brothers, David and Montie.

Surviving are his wife Linda; his son, Howard Davis, Jr. and his wife Ruby of Fritch; his daughter, Julie Blackburn and her husband Dennis of Borger; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
