Erma Amorella

Erma Amorella, 70, of Borger, TX, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.

Erma was born December 11, 1950, in Encino, NM to Santiago and Hilaria (Mares) Apodaca. She married John “Jack” Amorella on  April 14, 1972 in Clovis, NM. She attended beauty school and worked as a beautician.  She later worked at The Village, Kmart, and SPS.  In 2004, she retired from Borger Bank.  She was a talented crafter, quilter, and painter.  She also poured her heart into researching her family genealogy.

Erma is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Ray and Jimmy.

She is survived by her husband Jack; son David (Cami) Amorella; daughter Kate (Nic) Proff; sisters Ruby (Paul) Sena, Gloria (Marc) Martinez, Katrina (Cruz) Lopez; and four beloved grandchildren Logan, Alysen, Jack, and William.

Memorial mass will be 11:00 am Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church. There will be a visitation of Family and friends at 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. The rosary will be read after the visitation.
