Dorothy Followill

Dorothy Jean Followill, 80, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021.

Graveside services will be held 2 pm on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Dorothy was born June 24, 1941 in Degognia, Illinois to Laurance Kirkover and Josephine Clossa Kirkover.  She married Donald Wayne Followill on July 19, 1957 in Oahu Territory, Hawaii.  Dorothy enjoyed sewing, listening to music and visiting with family.  Nothing brought more joy to her life than being called Grandma by her beloved grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Followill; eight brothers; two sisters; and a granddaughter, Brandi Lynn Harris.

Survivors include her son, Rodney Followill and wife Angela of Dumas; daughter, Theresa Coffee and husband Tony of Borger; grandchildren, Aimee Lehto, Amber Meluso and husband Anthony, Samantha Followill, Kristina Followill, Tony Michael Coffee and wife Melinda, Misty Quick and husband Justin; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
