Cary Shimek

Cary Wynn Shimek, 49, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

A celebration of his life will held at 3 pm at First Baptist Church Wolfforth on Saturday, September 11, 2021 with Pastor Chance Morton officiating.

Cary was born February 21, 1972 in Lubbock, Texas to Victor and Cheryl Shimek.  He enjoyed playing darts, shooting pool, painting homes and barbequing.  Nothing brought more joy to his life than is children, Dez, Dalton and Devin.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Shimek.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Jones of Fritch; daughter, Dez Shimek of Fritch; sons, Dalton Shimek and Devin Shimek of Wolfforth; their mother, Shonda Shimek of Lubbock; father, Victor Shimek of Lubbock; brothers, Andrew Shimek of DFW, Cody Shimek of Lubbock; sisters, Candi Shimek of Lubbock, and Christa Shimek of Wolfforth; and a host of extended family.
