Carl Richey, Jr.

Carl Lee Richey, Jr., 89. Moved to his Heavenly home on November 25, 2019. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the First Baptist Church Chapel with Pastor Charlie Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Carl was born October 11, 1930 in Bowie, TX to Carl Lee Richey, Sr. and Willie Mae Collie Richey. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy and was a Communications Technician for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Carl loved his family especially his grandchildren and never met a stranger. He would stop to visit no matter what pressing issues he had.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patsy, his son Everett Clark Richey and his grandson Jedrek Stolarczyk.

Carl is survived by his son Jim Richey and his wife Misty of Raton, NM, his two brothers Thomas Dean Richey of Bowie and Bennie Warren Richey of Midland, his sister Doris Christine Curb of Albuquerque, NM, his six grandchildren TerrinLea Gass and her husband Jake of Quitaque, TX, JonPaul Richey and his wife Adeena Richey of Panhandle, Hannah Shader and her husband Sean of Raton, Caleb Stolarczyk and his wife Ally of Albuquerque and Kees Stolarczyk and his wife Lexi of Raton and his ten great grandchildren.
