Brenda Lattig

Brenda Joyce Lattig, 72, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am on Friday, November 18, 2022, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Shane Wieck, celebrant.  Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.  The rosary will be recited beginning at 5 pm on Thursday, November 17, 2022, in the Minton Memorial Chapel.

Brenda was born June 4, 1950, in Compton, California to John and Frances Sousa.  In 1950 she married John Franklin Lattig in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  Brenda enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and saving memories in scrapbooks.  She was sassy and classy.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Franklin Lattig; son, John Lattig, II; and daughter, JoAnna Nielson.

Survivors include her grandchildren, John Lattig and wife JoAnna, Jennifer Clements and husband Stephen, Raquel Spencer, Michael Spencer; great grandchildren, Penelope, Natalie, Johnny, Olivia; brother, John Sousa; sister, Cathy Sousa; and a host of extended family.
