Bobbye Martin

Bobbye Martin, 89, our beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother passed away on May 13, 2021 in Amarillo. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Fairlanes Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Bobby was born May 9, 1932 in Pampa to Clarence Sargent and Minnie McFarland Sargent. She was a lifetime resident of Borger and a member of Fairlanes Baptist Church.  She was a checker at several grocery stores and a lifetime member of the Borger Elkettes, she volunteered at Helping Hands and had a sweet spirit and was a hugger and kisser.  Mrs. Martin loved to feed the birds and squirrels, painting and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings and her grandson Cory Wood.

Bobbye is survived by her husband Paul, her daughters Lana Tipton and her husband Doug of Borger, Teresa Roark and her husband Steve of Pine Top, AZ, Debbie McFarland and her husband Verne of Ft. Worth, Paulette Dozier and her husband David and Kay Williams and her husband C. E. both of Panhandle, her son Dennis Martin and his wife Antha of Borger eleven grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
