Wilma Elaine Brown

Wilma Elaine Brown, 78, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Cave Creek Cemetery in Vinson, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwel Funeral Directors of Borger. Elaine will lie in state beginning Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 1-8 pm and Monday, May 25, 2026, from 8 am-8 pm.

Elaine was born April 3, 1948, in Mangum, Oklahoma to Travis Lafayette Brown and Allie May Hall Brown. She was a member of the Church of Christ at Borger and served in the children’s ministry. Elaine also baby sat for the community for several years. She enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and working on coloring books.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Travis and Allie Brown; brothers, Audrey Brown, Vaudrey Brown, Johnny Brown; and sisters, Rita Tollison, Norma Combs, Ann Nation, Neva Winkler, Carolyn Meyer, Cheryl Flaming, and Tina Coffee.

Survivors include her brothers, Travis Brown and wife Glynda of Borger, Robert Brown and wife Debbie of Stinnett; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
