Wendell Ray Holland, 62, of Borger, Texas, passed away on May 6, 2025.

Wendell was born on June 22, 1962, in Borger, where he grew up and attended Borger High School. A natural athlete, he excelled in football, baseball, and even competed in boxing at the Junior Olympics.

Wendell had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found at the lake, fishing and enjoying nature. Known for his adventurous spirit, he had a gift for turning everyday moments into unforgettable stories.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Duby; his daughter, Wendy Driedger, and her husband, Isaac; his son, Dustin Holland, and his wife, Cynthia; and his cherished granddaughters, Ariana and Madelyn Driedger, and Lexi and Leah Holland.

Wendell is also survived by his brothers, Randy Holland (and wife, Charlotte), Junior Holland (and wife, Kelly), Stacey Holland (and wife, Stephany), Roger Holland; and his sister, Jennifer Duby. He leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles and Anita Holland, his brother, Leon Duby and sister, Pamela Holland.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, in the Minton Memorial Chapel at Minton-Chatwell Funeral Home in Borger, Texas.
