Travis Dale Howell

Travis Dale Howell, 70, of Borger passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026 in Amarillo. 

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Westlawn Memorial Park. Burial is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Travis was born on July 15, 1955, in Borger to Lonnie J. and Anna Doris (Stevens) Howell. On May 6, 1978, he married the love of his life Kathy Elaine Harper. He loved working on cars, and this was how he spent his dates with Kathy.

He loved hitting the road on motorcycles.

Preceding him in death are his parents; sister, Shirley Howell; and father and mother-in-law, James and Patsy Harper.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Kathy; son, Jonathan Wallace Howell and wife Stacy of Borger; daughter, Mindy Elaine Browder and husband Larry of Borger; sister, Dianna Minton of Borger; brother-in-law, Kenny Harper and wife Dori of Baytown, Texas; and grandchildren, Harlie Howell and Ashlyn Howell.
