Thomas Eugene Bodey, Jr.

Thomas Eugene Bodey, Jr., 70, passed away Friday, September 4, 2026.

A celebration of his life will be held at 3 pm on Friday, September 18, 2026, in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Thomas was born December 24, 1955. He had a passion for muscle cars and motorcycles. Thomas enjoyed looking for Indian artifacts and collecting antique signs. If anyone needed something or help with anything he would stop what he was doing to help them out. He worked at Whites as a mechanic but was also a gifted carpenter. Thomas was employed by Phillips 66 Refinery for 10 plus years and then worked as a plumber.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Bodey, Sr.; mother, Barbara Griffin; stepfather, Bob Wood; brother, Robert Bodey; and uncle, Skip Bodey.

Survivors include his sons, Thomas Bodey, III, Rusty Bodey; grandchildren, Taelor Bodey, Rusty Bodey, Jr.; great grandson, Enzo Cantu; and nephew, David Bodey.
