Teresa Wolfe Murdock, 49, of Colorado Springs, CO died Wednesday, July 15, 2020 peacefully at home.
Teresa was born in Lubbock, TX, the daughter of Ron Wolfe and Karen Wossum.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Andy Murdock of Colorado Springs, CO; her four beloved sons who she was extremely proud of, Blake Murdock of Greenville, TX, Jake Murdock and wife Rena of Tokyo, Japan, Evan Murdock and Brenner Murdock , both of Panhandle, TX; a beautiful granddaughter she was always pulling out her virtual brag book to show off, Emma; her mother, Karen Wossum Horton, of Lubbock, TX; her sister, Katrina Stockley and husband Chris of Colorado Springs, CO, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was welcomed by her father, Ron Wolfe, grandmother, Mabel Wolfe and aunt, Peggy to join the many loved ones who passed before her.
Family was very important to Teresa and it was obvious from a young age she would be a devoted and loving mom when she took every opportunity to help care for her baby sister (even when she wasn’t supposed to). She began her own family when marrying Andy Murdock in 1989. The glowing smile she had at the birth of each of her boys never dimmed and only grew brighter with the birth of her beloved granddaughter. She loved spending time with all of her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She graduated with her Associate Degree in Nursing from Amarillo College in 2008 and began her calling as a nurse; graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Summa Cum Laude from Kaplan University in 2014. She taught critical care clinicals for Amarillo College, combining her two passions of nursing and teaching. She worked several years in the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department, loving the adventure every day before her journey brought her to an infectious disease clinic that she called her forever job.
