Sylvia Duncan

Sylvia Dollie Duncan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 18, 2022.  There are no services scheduled at this time.  Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Sylvia was born May 20, 1941 in Melrose, New Mexico to Roy Everett and Dollie Ethel (Thomas) Ledbetter.  She married Edward Herman Duncan on January 2, 1975 in Houston, Texas.  Sylvia loved bowling, taking trips, and reading books by her favorite author, John Jakes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Danny Duncan, brother, M. Kenneth Ream, mother and father-in-law Lela Mae and Lewis Herman Duncan, brothers-in-law, Bobby Duncan and Gene Prichard, sister-in-law Sarah Duncan, and sister Bessie Alley.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Edward; son Wayne Eatmon and wife, Glenda of Houston; daughters, Sherry Terry and husband, Dennis of Wimberly, Texas, Joy Janine Feezell and husband, James of Anton, Texas, Tracy Ann Carlucci and husband, Greg of Rio Frio, Texas, Debora Eatmon of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Carla Brown and husband, Kevin of Trinity, North Carolina; sisters, Sarah Nava of Amarillo, Texas and Sharon Ausloos of Scottsdale, Arizona; brother, Ray Ream of Amarillo, Texas;  brothers-in-law Billy Duncan of Smithfield, Oklahoma and Charlie “Tex” David Duncan, Corpus Christi, Texas.  Sylvia was blessed with 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
