Susan Stephens Bolton, age 80, entered the gates of Heaven on May 20, 2026, following a short illness. She was born on December 29, 1945, and lived a life centered on faith, family, friendship, and joy in the simple moments shared with those she loved.
The family will receive guests from 10 am - 11 am on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Highland Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Susan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest happiness came from spending time with her family. She especially treasured moments with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.
She was married for 45 wonderful years to the love of her life, Louis A. Bolton. Together they enjoyed many adventures, from attending the latest movies to searching every estate sale in town for hidden treasures and special finds.
Susan was also deeply involved in her church community and found great joy in playing handbells at church. She enjoyed playing bridge with friends and was known for her warm spirit, kind heart, and gentle sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. W. G. Stephens and Viola Stephens; her brother, Donald Stephens; and her beloved granddaughter, Kendall Clark.
Susan is survived by her husband, Louis Bolton of Grand Prairie; her daughter, Wyndee Kunesh and husband Mark Kunesh of Waco; her son, William “Bill” Clark Jr. and wife Kristin Clark of Statesville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Blakelee Alexander and husband Mike Alexander of Waco, Bradlee Clark of Waco, Maddison Clark J.D. of Statesville, North Carolina, Dr. Alexis Clark of Columbia, South Carolina, and William Clark III of Statesville, North Carolina; great-grandson, Colt Clark of Waco; and sister-in-law, Randy Stephens.
Susan’s love, faith, and kindness will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
