Steve Smith

Steve  Smith, 60, of Borger passed away at home June 30, 2022, in Borger. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Steve was born September 11, 1961 in Borger to W. L. “Bud” and Jean (Shupp) Smith. He married Charlene Berry December 31, 1993 in Lipscomb County, Texas. He loved to BBQ, to smoke sausage, wood crafts, camping and his dogs Chloe and Maggie. He also loved spending time with his grandkids.

Preceding him in death are his parents; cousin, Richard Gay and mother-in-law Lisa.

Surviving is his wife, Charlene of Borger; son, Daniel Smith of Borger; daughter, Dezaree Moon of Fritch; sister, Debbie Brewer and husband, Gary of Borger; grandchildren, Colten Perkins, Alexis Perkins, Weston Perkins and Addison Perkins.
