Steve Boothe

Steve “EBob” Boothe, 60, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Celebration Family Church in Fritch with Pastor Dwight Kirksey officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive guests from 5-7 pm on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please honor his memory with a gift to Fritch Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 366, Fritch, Texas, 79036 and to the Steve Boothe Memorial Fund for Livestock Show Fund for Hutchinson County kids at Amarillo National Bank. 

Steve was born on March 15, 1965, in Bakerville, California. He married Stacey Harlan on July 18, 1986, in Borger. Steve was a hardworking man and if you had the privilege to get to work alongside him you not only got his plant knowledge, but you were also blessed with life lessons. He happily spent 35 years working for Phillips and truly loved every minute of it. Steve lived life large and was the life of the party. Steve enjoyed gambling, traveling, fishing and riding his Harley. Nothing brought more joy to his life than his family, especially being called Pops, he took great pride in attending their events.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Val Gene Boothe and Linda Cannefax Boothe.

Survivors include his wife, Stacey Boothe of Fritch; sons, Cameron Boothe and wife Crystal of Borger, Tyler Boothe and wife Kylie of Fritch; grandchildren, Cooper, Octavia, Tuff, Reed, Jensen; and brother, James Boothe and his family of Lubbock.
