Pa was born in Dumas, Texas on October 15, 1945 to Steve Andrew Anderson and Nell Anderson. He was the fourth of six children. Steve grew up in Borger, Texas starting at the age of 5. One of his proudest childhood memories was growing up in "Rock Creek" and learning the "Rockcreation" way of life.
In 1965, Steve officially landed a camp girl, Judy Whatley. Steve and Judy got married on November 19, 1965 at the Church of Christ in Fritch, Texas. Pa and Mommo had three children together and were looking forward to their 61st anniversary.
At the young age of 9 Pa started working for his dad in home construction where he learned work ethic, rather he wanted to or not. Steve later got into trucking, driving semis and hauling fuel. After several years driving a truck, Steve and Judy started Anderson Roustabout in 1974. Starting out on 10th Street and later moving to Industrial Boulevard where the business remains today, 52 years later. Steve was the official Boulevard Sheriff!
Pa's hobbies included his grandkids, great grandkids & grandpets. Taking care of them and entertaining them was his greatest joy. As well as giving Boyer as much hell as possible.
