Sheridan Paige Mercer, 21, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Word of Life Church/Faith Christian Church, 415 Gardner Street, Borger, with Pastors Randy and Christina Green officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Sheridan was born June 28, 2001, in Amarillo, Texas. She graduated from Childress High School in 2019. Sheridan enjoyed putting together Legos, working jigsaw puzzles, baking, tattooing, but she especially had a knack for shopping.
She was and is the most beautiful and outgoing stubborn girl that everyone knew and loved. Sheridan was an amazing big sister, the kind that who stuck up for her family, who loved them big, and she will be missed forever and always.
Preceding her in death are her Great-Grandmother Barbara Heady; Papa Harold Sanders; Pa and Ma R.C. and Lula Sloss; Grumpy Grandpa Charles Mercer; and Grandma Linda Mercer.
Survivors include her mother, Bridget Hanifin of Borger; father, Charles Mercer of Sanford; brother, Adin Sanders of Childress; sisters, Emma Mercer of Borger, Alexia Mercer of Borger, Amber Hausrath of Duke, Oklahoma, Sydney Chamberlin of Amarillo; Nana Bonnie Sloss and Pa Chris of Childress; Great-Grandma, Ruthie George of Childress; goddaughter, Berkley Skye; nieces, Aniyah Sanders, Violet, Ruby; nephew, Valen Sanders; aunts and uncles, Sherri Gonzales of Meade, Kansas, Tammy Eikman of Paducah, Ronda Altman and husband Tim of Kirkland, Richard Mercer of Sanford; numerous cousins; many close friends, Devron Robinson, Moe Hurd, Varonika Mathis, Lety Rangel, Racheal Imhof, Genesis Renteria, Jordan and Jaden Hogue; and her Bennigans and CVS crew.
