Sharon Jane Moffitt

Sharon Jane Moffitt, 78, passed away Monday November 10th, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sharie was born on April 26th, 1947, in Monterey, California to Ella Jane Polston and Forrest Leaster Rudy. For 25 years, she proudly served as a medical assistant, healing not just wounds, but hearts. She gave just as much love at home. Country music or Yanni echoed from her sewing room as she stitched love into every baby blanket or gift she made. She loved tending her garden, cooking treats, and quilting. She was Devon's Sweetpea and his road warrior, always ready for the next adventure by his side. A force of nature, she never put up with anyone’s nonsense and never sugarcoated the truth. She told it like it was, with honesty, grit, and love. Through every chapter, she was the glue that held the family together, fierce, nurturing, and unforgettable.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Ella Polston and Forrest Rudy; brothers, Arthur Rudy, David Hale; and son Robert Moffitt.

Survivors include partner, Devon Forcier; brother, Gary Foster; son, Joseph Moffitt; daughter, Rebecca Smith; grandchildren, Melinda DeMarr and husband John DeMarr, Tayler Kingham and husband Heath Kingham, Wensdai Moffitt, Daylin Callahan-Truesdell, Zacharia Truesdell, MisElizzabeth Truesdell; great grandchildren, Alexandra Hudson, Ashlynn Flowers, Clairitey Kingham, Elijah DeMarr; nieces and nephews, Davina Howard and husband Donny Howard, Kitty Hale, David Hale; great nieces and nephews, Michael Dickey, Kristina Harkness-Noll, Steven Lewis, David Hale, JetAdiah Hale, Katricia Hale, Justice Hale, Victoria Windhorn; and a host of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in her memory to a charity of choice; as she often said “ buy me flowers while I’m alive so I can enjoy them, not when I die!”
