On Monday, January 25, 2021, Senan “Bep” E. Felker, beloved husband and loving father of two children, passed away at the age of 60. Rosary will be read at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29, at Saint John Evangelistic Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Services will be for family and close friends, in observance of the Covid-19 protocol.
Bep was born August 20, 1960 in Borger, TX to Bernice Glenn Felker and Mary Bridget Hennessy Felker. Bep was born and raised in Borger, TX and was married to Paula Sue Stark on August 8, 1992. He gave 41 years of service to BNSF, where he made great memories and friends. He leaves behind his legacy to Sean Edmund Felker, Ethan James Felker, and his beloved Sweetie, Paula Sue Felker.
Bep had a passion for classic cars, whether he was admiring them at car shows, watching them “drag main”, or restoring his own. He also was an avid builder of projects, from go-carts, to wishing wells to greenhouses Bep was always looking for the next big build. Bep made a lasting impact on everyone who had the time to know him. He was known for being a hard worker, loving neighbor, mentor, and most of all a family man. He loved his family with such a big heart, his devotion and love to Paula, Sean, and Ethan outnumbered the stars in the galaxy.
Bep is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Anne Felker, Michael Felker, Dennis Felker and Barry Felker.
He is survived by his wife Paula of the home; sons, Sean Edmund Felker of Las Vegas, NV, and Ethan James Felker of Amarillo; brothers Kevin Felker of Amarillo, Ferrin Ernie Felker and wife, Karen of Borger, Brendan Brian Felker of Borger, Tim Felker and wife, April of Amarillo; sisters, Mary Lasley of Fritch and Sheila Elliott and husband, Mark of Fritch; brother-in-laws, James C. Stark II and wife Lesa and John Stark and wife, Laura both of Borger; sister-in-laws, Pat Reaves of Colorado Springs, Peggy Newcomb and husband, Jerry of Fritch and Pam Purinton and husband, Chappy of Billings, MT.
In lieu of flowers the family requested that a memorial be made in his honor to St. Theresa Catholic Church, P.O. Box 366, Panhandle, TX 79068 or The Orphanage Home of Father Ravi’s in India can be made at Amarillo National Bank in Borger, or St. John Evangelist Catholic Church, 201 St. John Road, Borger, TX 79007.
