Ronald Dean Bush

Ronald Dean Bush passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on August 20, 1937, in Ranger, Texas, Ronald was the youngest of twelve children.

Ronald dedicated 21 years of his professional life to Phillips Warehouse, where he was a respected and hard-working member of the team.  In addition to his work, Ronald was enjoyed the golf course, bowling, and he was an ardent supporter of the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys.

On December 29, 2001, Ronald married Pat Young in Tulsa, Oklahoma, embracing a partnership that brought him great joy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Moffitt Bush, along with his four stepsons—Larry, Lorne, Layne, and Lance Moffitt, all of Fritch. Ronald is also remembered by his daughters, Lisa Kaye Dobbs and her husband Larry of Ranger; Vicki Bredemeier and her husband Troy of South Carolina; and Kelli Richerson and her husband Troy of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ronald cherished his role as a father and was proud of his seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Ronald was predeceased by his parents and several siblings: brothers TL, Dorwood, and Sonny, and sisters Dee, Bernice, Joyce, Bellie, Audrey, and Lois. 

Above all, Ronald loved his family and his country. He also shared a special bond with his dog, Sadie. 

A service to remember Ronald will be held at Unity Baptist Church in Borger at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 3, 2026.
