Roger Dale Walker

Roger Walker, 76, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 2, 2025, in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Roger was born July 1, 1948, in Lubbock, Texas to Delmer Walker and Billie Fox Walker. He married Nelbia Sue Walker on July 10, 1970, in Ayer, Massachusetts. Roger was a Sargeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but Red River held his heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Delmer and Billie Walker; and wife, Nelbia; son, Chad Walker; grandson, Roger Walker; and sisters, Sherry Walker, Sandra Walker.

Survivors include his children, Nina Gray and her husband, Randy of Borger, Jason Walker and his wife, Anna of Amarillo; eight grandchildren, Hunter Gray, Brant Gray, Brauch Walker, J.W. Walker, Kanyon Walker, Terrin Walker, Kassidy Walker; sister, Elaine Tice of Lubbock; and a host of extended family.
