Robert Watkins, Jr.

Robert Thomas Watkins, Jr., 63, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021.

Funeral services will be held 11 am on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Keeler Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Ulrey officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored with a gift to Keeler Baptist Church.

Robert was born October 9, 1958 in Memphis, Texas to Robert Watkins, Sr. and Dorothy English Watkins.  He married Cynthia Brantley on April 1, 1986 in Pampa.  Robert enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and working on motors.  He was employed as a pumper for Airgas for over 38 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Alan Barnett; and three nephews.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Watkins of Borger; son, Thomas Watkins of Borger; sister, Betty Watkins of Fritch; brothers-in-law, Mark Brantley of White Deer, Timothy Brantley and wife, Pam of Longview; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
