Robert Johnson

Robert Ervin Johnson, 72, passed from this life Saturday, March 5, 2022 in Amarillo.  Graveside service will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Westlawn Memorial Park with Mr. Richard Kasko of Fritch Church of Christ officiating.  Burial is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Robert was born June 17, 1949 in Amarillo to Ervin Johnson and Aline Ready Johnson.  He was a 1967 Graduate of Borger High School and attended Frank Phillips College until his enlistment.  He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Viet Nam War on the USS Hancock.  Robert loved to read Louis L'amour books and watching old movies.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert is survived by his sister Connie Gallaspy and her husband and his best friend Dale of Borger, his Nieces Marcy Lindsey and her husband Cody and Jamie Hayes and her husband Jerry, his great nieces and nephews Connor Lindsey, Jaidyn and Jayla Hayes.
