Ricky Smith

Ricky Ray Smith, 54, died Sunday, November 1, 2009 in Amarillo. There will be a private memorial service later. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mr. Smith was born on April 25, 1955 in Borger and had been a lifelong resident. He was a Baptist and enjoyed fishing. Monty was preceded in death by his parents, Montie Lee and Carma Sue Smith. Survivors include his son - Joshua Smith of Fritch, daughters - Melissa Smith of Fritch, two brothers - Darwin Ashford of Catogap, Ark., and Robert Riley of Arkansas, three sisters - Rosa Duquette of Fritch, Tammy Mercer of Phoenix, AZ., and Paula Garcia of Borger of two grandchildren.
