Reba Kathleen Keadle Tooley, 93, of Stinnett passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021 in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Scott Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the funeral home.
Reba was born on January 19, 1928 in Mayes County, Oklahoma to Oliver Lewis Keadle and Mary Bitting Keadle. She had 5 brothers, Clifton, Alvin, Joe, Marvin and Dale. On her 18th birthday, Reba eloped with the love of her life, Erven B. Tooley on January 19, 1946. They were married for 62 years before he passed away on March 15, 2008.
Reba was a Deputy County Clerk for over 25 years where she sold hundreds of marriage licenses. She was very talented with sewing, baking, quilting, counted cross stitch, applique, puzzles and reading. Reba was an avid baseball fan and boasted that she once went on a helicopter ride. She was also a member of Riverview Baptist Church. Reba also helped her husband remodel their home. She poured cement, worked on the roof, plumbing, welding and painting. Reba also enjoyed planting and working in the garden.
Reba loved music and instilled “culture” in her children. She loved God, her country, bluegrass and gospel music, and traveling. Most of all, Reba loved her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Mary Keadle; five brothers, Clifton, Alvin, Joe, Marvin and Dale; and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Tooley.
Reba is survived by her sons, Loren E. Tooley and wife, Linda of Stinnett, Mark E. Tooley of Borger; daughter, Carol Tooley-Sargent of Stinnett. She was also blessed with six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great grandchildren.
