Ramon Espino, 80, passed away December 12, 2014.brbrFuneral service 2 pm Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at First United Methodist Church of Stinnett. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. brbrRamon was born January 11, 1934 in Matanzas, Cuba. He married Mercedes Solar January 11, 1961 in Cuba. Ramon was a kind, selfless man who gave freely. He never let anyone leave his home without being fed and always had a smile on his face. A hard worker, loved to garden and would share vegetables he grew. Ramon never met a stranger. brbrA proud grandpa, he had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, wanting the best for them and especially wanting them to obtain an education. brbrHe is preceded in death by his parents and a sister. brbrSurvivors include his wife, Mercedes Espino of the home; daughter, Rebeca Cruz and husband Alfred of Stinnett; sons, Daniel Espino and wife Christy of Fritch, Peter Espino of Stinnett; five grandchildren, David Cruz and wife Lawanna, Michael Cruz, Emily Espino, Sarah Espino, Allison Espino; two great grandchildren, Ares and Ada Cruz; five brothers; four sisters; and a host of extended family. br
