Michael “Mike” Lewis Giesler, 74, of Fritch, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. 

A celebration service honoring Mike's life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Grace Church in Borger. Cremation services are under the compassionate care of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Born on March 29, 1951, in Amarillo, Texas, Mike was the cherished son of Audie Giesler and Betty Folley Giesler. On September 6, 1974, he married the love of his life, Sue Wright, beginning a partnership filled with devotion and shared dreams that spanned over five decades.

Mike dedicated over 40 years of his life to serving others in the medical and emergency services serving as an EMT, fire fighter, healthcare instructor, and respiratory therapist in Fritch, Borger, Pampa, and Amarillo. His expertise and caring nature touched countless lives, leaving a legacy of compassion and healing. Beyond his professional life, Mike was a gifted craftsman who loved building things with his hands. His love for people was demonstrated in his willingness to help anyone in need.

Affectionately known as “Pa” to his beloved grandchildren, Mike’s greatest joy was found in their laughter and love. He cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will live on in their hearts.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Audie and Betty Giesler, and his grandson, Aiden Marshall.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Sue Giesler of Fritch; his sons, Aaron Giesler and wife Heather of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and David Giesler and wife Katrina of Amarillo; his daughter, Monica Marshall of Borger; and his adored grandchildren, Grant, Bethany, Owen, Delaney, Liam, and Abigail. He is also survived by his brother, Randy Giesler and wife Diane of Corpus Christi, along with a host of extended family and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Mike’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and community will continue to inspire all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the love he shared.
