Michael Wayne Taylor

Michael Wayne Taylor, 63, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, February 2, 2024, in the Minton Memorial Chapel, Borger, Texas.  Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery.  Mr. Taylor will lie in state beginning at noon on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the funeral home in Fritch. 

Michael was born November 7, 1960, in Pampa to Jackie Taylor and Donna Ruth Mayberry Taylor.  He was a gifted woodworker, as well as a welder and tree service technician.   Michael enjoyed riding Harleys, watching baseball and was an avid supporter of the Dallas Cowboys.  Nothing brought more joy to his life than his family. 

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his sister, Lori Woodward of Fritch; niece, Kristy Kirkpatrick of Fritch; nephew, Dakota Howell and wife Avry of Bandera; niece, Melissa Desbiens of Dumas; son, Nathan "Nate" Mills and wife Margie of Waxahachie; great nephew, Joey Winchester; great nieces, Maddox Howell, Allison Flemons; and a host of friends.
