Micah Dwain McGehee, 32, died Monday, August 28th, 2006 in Carson County, Texas.BRBRMemorial services will be at 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Church of Christ at Borger with Mr. Richard Kasko, Minister of the Fritch Church of Christ officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger, Texas.BRBRMicah was born on September 22, 1973 in Lubbock, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Borger. He was an installer for Gary Heating and Air Conditioning in Amarillo. He was a calvary scout for five years in the US Army stationed in Ft. Riley, Kansas. He was also a platoon sargent and combat medic. He graduated from Borger High School in 1992 and graduated from Frank Phillips College in 1994. He was a member of the American Indian Association and the Church of Christ at Borger. He was a native representive of the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. He was a founding member of the Texas Inter Tribal Indian Organization, and the Adobe Walls Indian Dancers. He was a cousin of Dode McIntosh, last presidential appointed chief of the Muskogee Creek Nation.BRBRHe is survived by two sons - Colton McGehee of Stinnett and Alyzar Mata of Pasadena, Tx., parents - Dwain and Marsha McGehee of South Fork, Colorado, brother - Kris McGehee and wife, Danielle of Stillwater, Ok, and grandparents - Clarence and Lovonia McGehee of Borger.BRBRHonorary casket bearers will be Damon Tucker, Bruce Baker, Brandon Shoptease, Matt Archer, Seth Cunningham, and Paxton Farbro.BRBRMemorials may be made to the Disabled Veterans Fund.
