Marie Rutledge Casey, 75, of Amarillo, Texas, formely of Borger, died Saturday, July 1, 2006 in Borger, Texas.BRBRServices will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 3rd, at Memorial Park Cemetery East Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Bob Gill, Pastor, of Freewill Baptist Church in Amarillo, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMarie was born on Marych 5, 1931 in Huff, Arkansas. She moved to Borger in 1937, and was a Borger High School graduate in 1948. She has lived in Amarillo for the last 45 years. Marie married Charles Casey on July 8, 1976 in Clovis, N.M. She retired from the dietary department at the Veterans Hospital in Amarillo. She attended the Freewill Baptist Church in Amarillo and was a member of the Tri-State Bluegrass Association. Marie is preceded in death by her parents-John and Ora Mae Rutledge, 1 Son - Sonny Simpkins, 1 Granddaughter-Andrea Brandt, 1 Grandson - Staff Sgt.
