Margarete Keys

Margarete Barbara Keys, 77, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016.

Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Margarete was born April 2, 1939 in Schweinfurt, Germany to Hans Joseph Geis and Margarete Weber Geis. She enjoyed fishing, knitting, crocheting and crafting with her grandkids. Nothing brought more joy to her life than spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kurt Geis.

Survivors include her sons, Marshall Keys of Borger, Curtis Keys and wife Amanda of Pampa, William Keys and wife LeeAnn of Yukon, Oklahoma, Jurgen Keys and wife Lori of Granbury; daughters, Margarete Bartram and husband Richard of Granbury, Rose Powell of Florida, Barbara Keys of Pampa; twenty six grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
