Maceo Ariel Martinez

Our hearts forever changed on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, when our beloved son Maceo Ariel Martinez passed away.

The family will receive guests from 3-4 pm on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the funeral home. Services are entrusted to Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. A memorial mass will be held at a later date at St. John Catholic Church.

Maceo is the son of Michael and Ulyssa Martinez. He is the answer to their prayers, and they waited for his birth with joyful expectation. Maceo was born Sunday, December 14, 2025, in Amarillo. Despite his short time here on earth he was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hermina Salas, Rodolpho Lorenzo Santoyo, Charles Martinez and Petra Ybarra.

Survivors include parents, Michael and Ulyssa Martinez of Borger; sister, Emma Paige Martinez; brother, Noah James Martinez; grandmothers, Vicky Zumata of Borger, Maricel Hall and husband Jeff of Amarillo; uncle, Esteban Zumata of Borger; and aunt, Christina Michelle Martinez of Pampa.
