Maceo Ariel Martinez

Our hearts forever changed on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, when our beloved son Maceo Ariel Martinez passed away. 

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at St. John Catholic Church. Services are entrusted to Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Maceo is the son of Michael and Ulyssa Martinez. He is the answer to their prayers, and they waited for his birth with joyful expectation. Maceo was born Sunday, December 14, 2025, in Amarillo. Despite his short time here on earth he was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hermina Salas, Rodolpho Lorenzo Santoyo, Charles Martinez and Petra Ybarra.

Survivors include parents, Michael and Ulyssa Martinez of Borger; sister, Emma Paige Martinez; brother, Noah James Martinez; grandmothers, Vicky Zumeta of Borger, Maricel Hall and husband Jeff of Amarillo; uncle, Esteban Zumeta of Borger; and aunt, Christina Michelle Martinez of Pampa.
