Lynda Jackson

March 27, 1940 — February 20, 2022

Lynda was born March 27, 1940, in Woodston, Kansas, to Louis and Meda (Swank) Bonny.

She moved with her family to Pampa, Texas, in 1949 and on to Borger, Texas, in 1956 where she met her future husband, Gary Jackson. They were married on June 11, 1960. They were married 62 years before Lynda's death on February 20, 2022, in Bella Vista, Arkansas.

Lynda loved people and never met a stranger. She loved her entire family and was grateful Gary let her claim his family as hers. She was proud of their three daughters and sons-in-law: Mindy and Rob Manes, Overland Park, Kansas, Bonny and Dave Rau, Bella Vista, Arkansas, Jennifer and Tim Scoggins, Shaftsbury, Vermont. Three granddaughters: Jessica and Tom Eberline, McKinzey Manes and Michael Zeets, and River Scoggins. Three great grandchildren: Heidi, Josephine, and Caleb Eberline.

She is also survived by her brother Gene Bonny and family, North Vancouver, British Columbia; sisters-in-law Charlene Buckles, Borger, Bette Moscarello, Denton, and Jeanne Bridges, Clyde, Texas; and favorite nieces, nephews and cousins (you know who you are). And those special friends who helped make her life delightful. (Again, you know who you are.)

Lynda was preceded in death by her father, Louis Bonny (1957), her mother Meda Bonny (2011), brother Keith (1974), and in-laws Harry (2002) and Marie Niles Jackson (2017).

Gary and Lynda moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas, in October 2020. During their 62 years together, Lynda followed Gary in 51 moves. Gary told Lynda she could choose the last move, therefore they will be buried among many generations of Lynda's ancestors at Ashrock, a quiet country cemetery near Woodston, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers the family would like to suggest a contribution to Circle of Life Hospice, Bentonville, Arkansas. https://nwacircleoflife.com/donatesupport/
