Lloyd Hare Sr

Lloyd Allen Hare Sr, 90 of Panhandle went to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 5,2022 at his home in Panhandle.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Panhandle Church of Christ. Burial will be in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 9, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Lloyd was born March 30, 1931, in East Liberty, Ohio to Herman and Ruth (Martin) Hare. He has been a resident of Panhandle since 1977. He was a utility engineer for Pantex. He married Jane Herring Russell January 15, 1993, in Lubbock, Texas. He enjoyed golfing, flying planes and working on crossword puzzles. He served in the Ohio National Gaurd during the Korean conflict.

Preceding him in death are his parents, first wife Beverly, daughters Lori and Maryann, daughter in laws Mary and Bridget, grandson Lloyd Allen Hare III, four brothers and three sisters.

Surviving is his wife, Jane. Sons Lloyd Allen Hare Jr and wife Theresa of Panhandle; Mike Hare and wife Annie of Panhandle; Tommy Russell and wife Lucinda of Bushland. Daughters Lorrie Baze and husband Jay of Panhandle; Cyndy Carpenter and husband Howard of West Virginia; Debbie Graham and husband Rick of Ohio; April Chamberlain and husband Gordon of Washburn, TX. Twenty-four grandchildren. Thirty-two great grandchildren and eleven great- great grandchildren.
