Leonor Candanoza Castillo, 92, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Monday, November 2, 2026, in Highland Park Cemetery, under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to ExcelaCare Hospice.

Leonor was born January 8, 1934, in Lyford, Texas to Teodoro Candanoza and Zenida Rodriguez Candanoza. She married Adolph P. Castillo, Sr. on November 7, 1952, in Hereford, Texas. Leonor enjoyed working in her yard, crocheting, and taking care of her family. They especially loved it when she cooked for them. She was a devout Jehovah’s Witness.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Adolph; sons, Margarito, Adolph Jr., Gilbert; daughter, Raquel; grandson, Feto; great grandson, Daniel; brothers, Manuel, Teodoro, Isidoro; and sisters, Julia, Lupe, Emma, Ofelia.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Ford and husband Danny, Lita Blassingame all of Borger; grandchildren, Tracy, Jill, Maggie, Jason, Jennifer, Carl, Desarae, Darrah, Eric, Ben, Zachary, Random; great grandchildren, Isaac, Aaron, Alyssa, Baron, Maleah, Hope, Michael, Ariana, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Ejay, Malachai, Evaney, Zavarie, Sophia, Katelyn, Zylie, Zayda; great-great grandchildren, Luka, Kash, Moses, Daniella, Ziggy; sister, Lydia DeLeon; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
