Kenneth Chapman

Kenneth Freeman Chapman, 77, died Wednesday, September 19, 2007 in Borger, Texas.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in FairviewCemetery in Pampa under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Chapman was born on December 11,1929 in Crook, Colorado. He had been a Borger resident for 65 years. He was a rancher and was in the oil gas industry. He served in the US Army occupation troops in Germany after WW II. He loved working with horses cattle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Freeman L. Bertha Kendrick Chapman and one brother, Corky Chapman of Gruver.BRBRHe is survived by his wife, Marilyn Chapman of the home, son - Victor Chapman of Borger, sister - Micca Pirtle of Borger, and granddaughter - Layla Faimon and husband Luke of Colorado Springs, Co.BRBRThere will be a family visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
