Kenneth Preston Breg, 70, passed away Friday, November 6, 2026.

A celebration of his life will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, in the Minton Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored with a gift to Fritch Meals on Wheels, PO Box 366, Fritch, Texas 79007.

Kenny was born September 15, 1956, in Houston, to William Preston Breg and Yvonne Hudson Breg. He was a 1975, Phillips Blackhawk graduate. Kenny worked as an operator for Philtex for many years. A man of great integrity and a strong moral compass, he was extremely generous with a heart full of compassion with a keen sense of humor. He enjoyed hunting for arrowheads and rock and had amassed quite the collection of the years. Kenny enjoyed fishing and sharing his lure knowledge with those lucky enough to take a fishing trip with him. An avid sports fan he especially like watching college football. He found great solace in caring for his garden, often using those harvests to make his own salsa. His television could find its own way to the western movie channel; pretty sure he had seen them all. Nothing brought more joy to his life than his daughter and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Yvonne Breg.

Survivors include his daughter, Brook Hubbard; grandchildren, Darian Winkle, Kane Hubbard, Lainee Hubbard; brother, Kelly Adams; sisters, Debra Zigmond, Deanna Adams; nieces, Taylor Frick, Katelyn Grabow; nephew, Weston Adams; and the many friends of Brook’s that he treat like his own.
