Kenneth Wayne Bauert

Kenneth Wayne Bauert passed away on July 20, 2025, in Bushland, Texas. Born on August 31, 1960, in Borger, Texas, Kenneth worked as an NC Programmer at NOV for 35 years.

He married his beloved wife, Janet Ford, on January 11, 1980, in Borger, a union that defined his life's joy and purpose. Together, they built not only a life but also a remarkable home—an impressive 3000 square foot residence Kenneth constructed over the course of two years, symbolizing his industrious spirit and dedication to family.

A man of diverse interests, Kenneth enjoyed spending his free time hunting, fishing, and playing the guitar. He cherished attending his grandkids' ball games, always eager to support them. He also found joy in his many travels to Red River.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Janet of Stinnett; his mother, Nelda Bauert of Borger; his son, Kenny Bauert and his wife, Kelcee of Stinnett; his daughter, Constance Hickman and her husband, Brad of Bushland; his sisters, Donna Carlson and her husband, Chester of Borger; and Kim Payne and her husband, Jeff of Borger. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, MacKenzie, Austin, Kyler, Karson, Kolton, Hannah, and Kamden, who will forever remember their Papa as a guiding light in their lives.

He was preceded in death by his father, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and sister, Kathy Mills.

His pallbearers will be his boys: Brad Hickman, Kenny Bauert, Austin Crump, Kyler Bauert, Karson Bauert, Kolton Bauert, and Kamden Bauert.

Visitation for Kenneth Wayne Bauert will be held on July 28, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors in Borger, Texas. A funeral service will take place on July 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Riverview Baptist Church in Borger, Texas. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you give to the Huntingtons Disease Society of America.
