Julia Williams

Julia Bird Williams, 96, of Borger died Sunday, December 30, 2012. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ with Lindell Brown and Pastor Harry Williams presiding. Interment will be at the Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Julia is preceded in death by her parents and Aunt Ruth Waites.
Julia was born in Bastrop, Texas to O.T. and Maggie Waites Perkins on February 7, 1916. She worked very hard as church secretary and a Sunday school teacher at the New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ. Julia was very strong and independent.
Julia is survived by her son Leonard Williams, Jr. of Borger.
