John Kent

P PJohn Edward Kent, 66, died Tuesday. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday at Bunavista Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Hensley, pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park. PJohn was born August 2, 1942 in Ada, OK to John P. and Mergie Kent. He graduated from Borger High school in 1960. On June 25, 1981, John married Margaret Sewell in Borger, TX. He was a Baptist and a member of B.P.O.E. 1581. John loved golf and traveling. PSurvivors include his wife, Margaret of Borger; a son Stephen Kent of Round Rock, TX; 2 step sons Robert Sewell, Steven Sewell and wife Tammy all of Borger; a daughter Keverly Kent of Wellington, TX; parents John P. and Mergie Kent of Borger; Parents-In-Law Pac and Betty Pennington of Fritch; a brother Travis Kent and wife Roberta of Savannah, GA; a brother-In-Law Leland Pennington and wife Shirl of Borger; a sister Beverly McCarthy of Borger; a sister-In-Law Diane Martin and husband Don of Borger; 3 grandchildren Wesley Kent of Wellington, Hunter and Mackenzie Kent of Round Rock.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell Street, Amarillo, TX 79109. The family will be staying at 207 Pinehurst.
